We also asked them to price it with and without the vaulted ceiling. And we asked how much it will be to put it on our land, 31.3 miles away.<\/p>\n<p>The largest size module they make is 50-feet long. Their modules are all 12\u20199\u201d wide. We had it priced with a flat ceiling and with a vaulted ceiling.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_12505\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-12505\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-12505\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.projectsmallhouse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/blue_ridge_cabin-bedroom.jpg?resize=500%2C375&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-12505\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Blue Ridge Log Cabins River Rock II Model Bedroom with flat ceiling<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With a flat ceiling it will cost $187,500. With a vaulted ceiling it will cost $202,600. This price is good for ten days, then the price goes up.<\/p>\n<p>Blue Ridge Log Cabins does not sell kits or shells. They sell complete modular log cabins with the power, plumbing, cabinets and fixtures installed.<\/p>\n<p>Everything says that it is complete. (Even including light bulbs.)\u00a0 That is to contrast with log cabin kits and log cabin shells. It is a modular log cabin. The price includes a completed cabin. The price includes transportation to our site. The price includes putting the cabin on our foundation. The foundation is not included, but transportation and setup is. The cabin will be positioned using a crane. That is the only way they set up their modular log cabins.<\/p>\n<h2>What is not included?<\/h2>\n<p>The list of additional costs mostly matches the cost to put anything there. So far every company includes slightly different things, but nobody includes site prep and the foundation.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Building permit<\/li>\n<li>Site prep<\/li>\n<li>Water and Sewer hookup<\/li>\n<li>Temporary power and permanent power<\/li>\n<li>Footers<\/li>\n<li>Foundation<\/li>\n<li>Connect delivered cabin to water and sewer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What else is not included?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>HVAC<\/li>\n<li>Termite protection (important for logs!)<\/li>\n<li>Final floor finish<\/li>\n<li>Any finish on interior walls<\/li>\n<li>Exterior stain or log preservative<\/li>\n<li>Gutters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The price does not included HVAC. The Tryon sidewalls uses 13 courses of logs.<\/p>\n<p>The exterior walls have R19 insulation. The roof has R38 insulation. That is the bedroom off of the kitchen with bunk beds. This is the Tryon ceiling height.<\/p>\n<p>This model bedroom is 11-feet long. The bath cabinets are available in Maple, Oak or Hickory, too.<\/p>\n<p>The roofs are Owens Corning architectural shingles with a lifetime warranty.
