We can finally move forward!<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve been waiting for water and sewer taps. We applied when we started this whole thing. They let us pay for them on March 4. Finally, on May 1, they came out and put them in.\u00a0 For months we have been just waiting (and paying for a Portajohn rental, which is a drop in the bucket in the overall costs of this but bothers me more than it should).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_13969\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-13969\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-13969\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.projectsmallhouse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/locate-4-15-a.jpg?resize=500%2C375&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"375\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-13969\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">&#8220;Locate&#8221; on both sides and the center of the driveway to the cabin<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>People came out and spray painted over and over. I thought they were marking where the taps would go, which seemed like some pretty vague instructions. I gotta say, this does not look right to me. I&#8217;ve never seen something like this before.
