You can tour model log cabins and other cabins that are built on site and delivered to your own land. They are built in sections, like modular homes, except the sections are all constructed from real logs. It isn&#8217;t shown on their website yet, but it is available.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_14756\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14756\" style=\"width: 500px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-14756\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.projectsmallhouse.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/tryon1-2-plan.jpg?resize=500%2C450&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"450\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-14756\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Above: Blue Ridge Log Cabins Tryon 1<br \/>1 bedroom &amp; 1 bath, 613 square feet<br \/>Below: Blue Ridge Log Cabins New Tryon 2<br \/>2 bedrooms &amp; 1 bath, 667 square feet<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>I lined up the kitchen and bathroom to see the differences.<\/p>\n<p>All of the cabins from Blue Ridge Log Cabins are 12&#8217;9&#8243; wide inside.<\/p>\n<p>The living room on the Tryon 1 is 14&#8242; 2&#8243; x 12&#8217;9&#8243;, 182 square feet.<br \/>\nThe living room on the Tryon 2 is 11&#8217;11&#8221; x 12&#8217;9&#8243;, 152 square feet.<\/p>\n<p>The bathrooms are identical, both 4&#8217;10.5&#8243; x 8&#8217;11&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Both Tryon plans show a hot water heater tank. The washer and dryer are behind folding doors.<br \/>\nThe Tryon 2 kitchen is 7&#8217;4&#8243; long. There is an island for more storage and counter space. The washer and dryer are behind folding doors off the hallway.<\/p>\n<p>Above and below is the kitchen in one of the models you can tour at Blue Ridge Log Cabins. That is pretty much the same size as the long wall in both bedrooms in Blue Ridge Log Cabins Tryon 2 plan.\u00a0 (This photo is the Blowing Rock II model it is larger than the Tryon plans, 15&#8217;10&#8221; x 12&#8217;8&#8243;.)<\/p>\n<p>Tryon 2 has two bedrooms. The one off the living room is , 10&#8242; x 12&#8217;9&#8243;. The one at the other end is 10&#8217;6&#8243; x 12&#8217;9&#8243;. Both have very small closets.<\/p>\n<p>The photo above shows exposed beams. It has a great closet, but it takes up the longest wall. The bed would have to go on the smaller 11&#8217;11&#8221; wall.<\/p>\n<p>The photo above shows a bed is against a wall that is 10&#8217;3&#8243;. The wall the Tryon 1 bed goes against is almost 2-feet wider, so you can see it will fit without being crowded.<\/p>\n<p>This photo is the River Rock 2 bedroom, 12&#8217;8&#8243; x 10&#8217;3&#8243;.
