This mostly finished log cabin is currently on Facebook Marketplace. It is 12-feet wide, 20-feet long, 240 square feet, about twice the size of your basic bedroom.<\/p>\n

Relocatable timber tiny cabin built to residential codes, heavily reinforced, and ready for final interior build-out. Must be moved off-site.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

It is built of interlocking logs, not log siding. These are 3.5″ Solid Interlocking Timber with 8-Foot Side Walls.<\/p>\n

It has a dark green metal roof with double bubble radiant insulation, a highly durable, weather-resistant outer roof paired with a baseline thermal and vapor barrier underneath.<\/p>\n

Double Bubble Radiant Barrier is installed in the roof and floor. Double Bubble Radiant Insulation is two layers of air bubbles sandwiched between reflective foil faces. During the summer, it blocks up to 96-97% of the radiant heat transferring from the hot green metal roof into the building. It also acts as a vapor barrier to prevent condensation (roof sweating) from dripping onto your framing or ceiling.<\/p>\n

Double Bubble Radiant Insulation has a limited R-value, between R-1.1 and R-3. This is really very little thermal resistance. It stops heat radiation, but it does not efficiently stop heat conduction or convection.<\/p>\n

The cabin also has extremely efficient closed-cell spray foam insulation. Closed-cell spray foam has an R-value of R-6.0 to R-7.0 per inch thick.<\/p>\n
