It is Sunday, February 4. I woke up to the sound of freezing rain on the skylight.<\/p>\n

When I first came here, this was all swamp. Everyone said I was daft to build a castle on a swamp, but I built it all the same, just to show them. It sank into the swamp. So I built a second one. And that one sank into the swamp. So I built a third. That burned down, fell over, and then sank into the swamp. But the fourth one stayed up\u2026<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n

The only change on the building site? Another new dumpster was delivered Tuesday, January 30.<\/p>\n

This is a dumpster. Also called a roll-off, although I have never heard it called a roll-off. My gramma says it is for construction debris. That would be a good sign, then. They eventually plan to do some construction.<\/p>\n

The difference is, a roll-off doesn\u2019t have a lid and is rectangular to ride on a truck. It is \u201crolled off\u201d into place. It is supposed to have a swinging door on the end. I haven\u2019t checked ours. It was cold and I took my pictures from the car as we drove by visiting our future house to see if anything had changed. We didn\u2019t expect much, since it hasn\u2019t really stopped raining and snowing since January 22, the last post.\u00a0
