I\u2019ve been visualizing the house we are building, which is similar, but mirror reversed. I drove out to walk around it again, spend some time and check out some things I hadn\u2019t thought about. You come in through the office, which is where the garage would be if you built this house. It is larger than ours will be, but ours will have more\u00a0 closet. We will have a 9&#8242; ceiling, no vault, no beams. The model has a vaulted ceiling, a big stone fireplace and lots of built-in shelving. The model is very different from the plans here. They made the island larger and different. I think that is such a great idea, I changed the walk-in closet off our hall-way to open into the foyer with double doors. Easy to get at everything! The ceiling is 9\u2019 high, so there is even more room to store things in the top of the closet. I have hopes things will stay in closets. Maybe just dreams?
