They are starting on the foundation this week. The block was delivered today.<\/p>\n

Two trucks full of block. Wow! By the time I got down there, some of the block had already been unloaded.<\/p>\n

He has been working for Cason Supply for 30 years!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

They cleaned up everything that got tracked from the muddy driveway.<\/p>\n

They also delivered other supplies.<\/p>\n

He lined the forks up to slots in the truck.<\/p>\n

Once the forks were in, he lowered them, lifting the forklift.<\/p>\n

Then the driver lined up the forklift and poked the forks into slots in the back of one of the trucks. They used the forks to raise the lift. Then they locked it in place.<\/p>\n

This is what was delivered.<\/p>\n

I can’t believe how much block! Two trucks full and all for us!<\/p>\n

Cliff counted the block. We think we have 20 pallets. We lost count. A lot. \u00a0Cliff thinks it is 15 blocks per layer, 6 layers. So, 90 blocks per pallet. Twenty pallets makes it 1800 block. Wow!<\/p>\n

It looks like only one block is broken. They always need a half block for something. This one is ready to go.<\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t unwrap the blue wrapped things. (I wanted to, but I was afraid it would rain\u2026 Cliff was there. He probably woulda stopped me.) I moved the plastic around so I could see through it.<\/p>\n

We have anchor bolts. That is the top box. The rest say mason something. Gotta be the mortar.<\/p>\n

This is the pile of gravel I have been standing on to get all of the photos from a high perspective. It is left from the footers.<\/p>\n

Last week it rained and snowed again.<\/p>\n

This is the worst of it. Some of the walls above the footers have caved in. But not much. Lay that block and I don\u2019t have to care.<\/p>\n
