The crane was going to put the trusses on the roof today, but the forecast was thunderstorms so we have to reschedule. They don\u2019t want the crane struck by lightning. On the way back from an appointment in Asheville, I pulled over to take a call and realized I was in front of Foam & Fabrics Outlet.<\/p>\n

Foam and Fabric Outlet is in Fletcher, halfway between Asheville and Hendersonville on US25. They sell craft fabric, patterns and some dressmaking fabric. They have a huge selection of buttons and trims, some really cheap loose in bins that you have to match up. There are also bins of inexpensive sewing supplies like, cards of sewing machine needles and spools of thread for a dollar. They sell large spools for sergers for $3.00.<\/p>\n

Outdoor fabric and tables discounted from $2.99 a yard. There really are a lot of great choices at Foam & Fabric Outlet.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

They have a huge supply of upholstery and drapery fabric. Tables start at $3.00 a yard. The tail ends from bolts are stacked and priced. And they have lots and lots of bolts on racks. They also have foam that they will cut for you and every other thing you need to reupholster or slipcover furniture or make professional drapes. And they really are priced better than I\u2019ve seen elsewhere.<\/p>\n

They also have outdoor fabric, plastic sheets and leather hides. And dog beds for some reason.<\/p>\n

They also have bins that sell bedding by the pound. There is always something, but if you hit it right you can get some better brands. I bought a Tommy Hilfiger once. I\u2019m drawing a blank on other recognizable brands right now.<\/p>\n

I am not sewing anything yet, but I thought I might as well check the $3.00 a yard table. In the new house, I\u2019m gonna have a sewing area!<\/p>\n

There were a few things I liked.<\/p>\n

They really have some beautiful things. If you budget more than $3.00 a yard, a whole new world opens up to you.<\/p>\n
