We had looked at it frequently. We needed more space for Cliff\u2019s office and the Classic Manor buildings seemed to be the most square footage for the dollar.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>I called Cliff while I went to find someone to help me. He agreed. Go for it! They found a manager for me and he agreed to include moving it to our land and getting the permits signed off, so we could put in electricity. I put it on my Discover card and headed to Planning and Zoning.<\/p>\n<p>They issued the permits and we were ready to go! A guy came out to look at where we wanted it, out the back, but he said it could not be done. There was a tree in the way. It was leaning, so we hired a tree guy to get it out of there without hitting our log cabin.<\/p>\n<p>We had a sidewalk, which they had to cut.<\/p>\n<p>Two guys showed up with shovels and sledgehammers to dig the piers. There were big rocks and roots in the way, but they just forced their way down. I picked the same shingles we have on our roof now. The shingles and some other materials were delivered.<\/p>\n<p>We weren\u2019t sure how they were going to get the New Day Cabin to our house. I\u2019ve seen them move sheds, but this thing is tall! They propped the first wall with 2x4s until the next wall was up and they could nail them together.
