The previous record for May was 9.18 inches. We had 17 inches. There has been flooding, evacuations and fatalities. I-26 was closed for nearly 8 hours with 3 feet of flood water and downed trees. We drove by on Saturday. Not because we thought there would be any changes. They were putting on the tar paper! The plywood was up!<\/p>\n<p>And the house did fine in the flooding. All the grading worked.
