It was a walk-through to be sure where the vents and the returns go. I\u2019ve never had floor vents before. Where are they going to put the vents? I did some research. \u00a0They are usually put under the windows because the cooler air coming in from the windows falls and helps to circulate the air. I\u2019ve also seen them under the cabinets in kitchens.<\/p>\n<p>I hadn\u2019t really thought much about this. You can\u2019t put furniture over them. And I don\u2019t want the tub to be drafty. So, let\u2019s see where they are going to be.<\/p>\n<p>Then I found out we lose closet to the returns. I don\u2019t want to lose closet. What closet? How much closet? Can we put the return maybe in the laundry room? I love my closets. All of my closets.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, all the concern was unnecessary. The guy showed up and said there wasn\u2019t enough room under the house after the plumbers were through, so it has to go in the attic. I wanted it on the side with the guest room and office, not next to the master bedroom. They said we couldn\u2019t, I don\u2019t remember the exact reason, but I think it was because that was the side of the house that was downhill. The inside part, the air handler, will be over the guest bathroom tub.
