Harris Homes were kit houses available after WWI. You could order your entire house, even the furnishings and have it delivered by train.<\/p>\n

Here is the beauty of all beauties, and not only does this apply to the exterior appearance, which really speaks for itself, but equally as well for the interior. The plan of the rooms is perfection itself. The building of such a Harris Home carries with it a pride of ownership that bespeaks of solid citizenship, dependability, comfort and good taste.<\/p>\n

The broad inviting front porch and the spacious living room are true adjuncts to a successful bungalow and to a real home. There is a handsome mirror door included that leads to the second floor. The view through to the dining room is a wonderfully charming. The dining room has a long broad window seat backed by four attractive casement sash.<\/p>\n

The bedrooms are of ample size with plenty of window space for light and ventilation. Bathroom is conveniently placed between the two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a closet. The kitchen is arranged for every convenience with entry, pantry and plenty of room for everything.<\/p>\n
