We spent a week on Hilton Head Island. The little town of Bluffton, just over the bridge from Hilton Head has all these charming little houses. They are also building a lot of new houses with the same Low Country Coastal style.<\/p>\n

New businesses in Bluffton have shiplap or board and batten siding in beautiful colors with contrasting metal roofs and white trim<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

There is a LOT of new construction since the last time we visited Bluffton. The new businesses fit right in with lovely colors and contrasting trim.<\/p>\n

I love the yellow with white and grey. And the mint green with contrasting pink is a fun color combination that really works in the low country.<\/p>\n

I really love this house.<\/p>\n

This house has a pale grey metal roof. The shiplap siding is turquoise blue. The chimney and trim are creamy white.<\/p>\n

New townhouses in cheerful coastal colors<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This whole block is a row of new townhouses. They are richer in tone than most of the older homes, but the colors really work with the contrasting trim and shutters.<\/p>\n

Each connecting townhome is a different color. The facades work together without matching.<\/p>\n

Flamingo pink trim and gingerbread contrasts with chocolatey brown on this bright white clapboard coastal Victorian<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Oh my goodness! I don’t know what the story is with this house but Wow! The clapboard is white. The trim is rich chocolatey brown and grey with bright pink shutters and accents.<\/p>\n

Well I can’t believe it! This is NOT an old house! I found it on Google Maps and look!<\/p>\n

This house was under construction April 2016. If you click and drive down the little road next to it, it shows an even earlier view and this is a vacant lot with a For Sale sign on it.<\/p>\n
