The grader pushed the dirt up to the edges of the new concrete.<\/p>\n

There was gravel everywhere.\u00a0 The grader measured for where the gravel driveway was supposed to be.<\/p>\n

He marked it with this spray paint. It sprays upside-down.<\/p>\n

The grader scraped up the gravel from where it had been scattered<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

He scraped up the gravel from wherever it had been scattered to. He got a lot out of the ditch on the side of the driveway. It didn\u2019t take long at all to make a great driveway.<\/p>\n

The grader had saved the top soil when he first scraped the ground to start the house. He also had all of the dirt from the giant footers. We still had to buy two more loads of fill. Then he pushed the saved top soil over it. The field was a cow pasture for years and years. This should be some pretty good soil.<\/p>\n

The young man with him raked the rocks off the surface. The red soil is some of the stuff we bought. It has more clay in it, so he used it where it is important that the soil not wash away.<\/p>\n
