He got a lot out of the ditch on the side of the driveway. It didn\u2019t take long at all to make a great driveway.<\/p>\n<p>The grader had saved the top soil when he first scraped the ground to start the house. He also had all of the dirt from the giant footers. We still had to buy two more loads of fill. Then he pushed the saved top soil over it. The field was a cow pasture for years and years. The red soil is some of the stuff we bought.
