As you are driving north up I26, just before the North Carolina state line, you can see cabins on both sides of the road. Blue Ridge Log Cabins has been making modular, fully assembled log cabins for years. They range from tiny park models and 613 square foot cabins up to 2,748 square foot log homes. They even have modular duplex models.<\/p>\n

They have added a new style, Mountain Architecture. These look like Arts & Crafts style cottages. Any of the floor plans can be made in this style.<\/p>\n

We’ve looked at a couple of these plans to put on our land. This is the model I had my heart set on, but the salesman talked my husband into something else. So, no decision at all has been made.<\/p>\n
