We only had one branch down at the new house. When we bought the land there was a piece of plastic stuck way up in the top of a tree. I could not see any way to get all the way up there to get it down. Look! Problem solved!

There were a lot of power outages, so there is no way they are coming out to hook up our power and gas till all of the people in the cold and dark are re-connected to power. That’s fair. After a couple of days, my mom was finally willing to stay with us. The log cabin never loses power. They checked things first and saw that the shut-off for the gas at the hot water heater was wrong. It looks good to me. It is in a very convenient location. However, it is supposed to be just at the wall. If the flexible pipe should fail and the shut-off was past it, the shut-off wouldn’t shut anything off. That makes sense.
