Geordie, our rescue German Shepard Golden Retriever, paws on the screen and woofs to be let in. If no one lets him in immediately, he gets more and more worried and starts to try to dig his way in to where the rest of his flock is. When we let him in he is so happy to see us, as if we&#8217;ve been parted for weeks. This happens at least a dozen times a day.<\/p>\n<p>It didn\u2019t take long for him to put a hole through the screen door.<\/p>\n<h2>Pet Resistant Mesh<\/h2>\n<p>Cliff replaced the screen with Pet Resistant Mesh. We can still see through it. The breeze blows through just fine. We were just replacing the screen on one door, so we got the door kit. The door kit comes with screen, spline and a tool to push the spine in. The cats used to climb it. We replaced the screen with metal, which had to be painted all the time so it wouldn\u2019t rust. Adfors sells animal-proof screen in big rolls for big jobs like our Florida room.<\/p>\n<p>Adfors is the brand. They make all kinds of industrial fabrics. Saint-Gobain is the parent company. They are a French company that started in 1665. Saint-Gobain, has been awarded for &#8220;creating excellent workplace conditions for employees&#8221; for the last three years.<\/p>\n<h2>Animal-Proof Screen<\/h2>\n<p>So, if you need cat-proof screen, dog-proof screen&#8230; racoon-proof screen&#8230; squirrel-proof screen&#8230; we have been extremely happy with this tough pet-proof screen.<br \/>\nAdfors is not the only company in the world that makes animal-proof screen. We didn&#8217;t try any of the others. We used this. It wasn&#8217;t expensive.
