When they finished installing the HVAC system, the thermostat was not the one they promised. We were told we would have the Lennox ComfortSense 7500 Touchscreen Thermostat. What we had was the Honeywell TH6210U2001\/U T6 Pro Programmable Thermostat.<\/p>\n

The contractor called the HVAC guy back out, but he did not have the correct one with him.<\/p>\n

So, they ordered it in and came back today to put it in. It didn\u2019t take long at all to swap them out. For some reason there is a plate put behind it.<\/p>\n

When he was testing it to be sure it was connecting correctly, he realized that the heat pump had never been started. We have been running on emergency heat.<\/p>\n

So, he went out and started the heat pump and tested everything again.<\/p>\n

The new thermostat is touch-screen and REALLY easy to use. Way easier than the one from Honeywell.<\/p>\n
