We were told we would have the Lennox ComfortSense 7500 Touchscreen Thermostat. It didn\u2019t take long at all to swap them out. For some reason there is a plate put behind it.<\/p>\n<p>When he was testing it to be sure it was connecting correctly, he realized that the heat pump had never been started. We have been running on emergency heat.<\/p>\n<p>So, he went out and started the heat pump and tested everything again.<\/p>\n<p>The new thermostat is touch-screen and REALLY easy to use. These are abbreviations for all of the wiring and the things that the thermostat can control.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>R<\/strong>, <strong>C<\/strong> and <strong>B<\/strong> provide power.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Y1<\/strong> and <strong>Y2 <\/strong>control air conditioning<\/li>\n<li><strong>W1<\/strong> and <strong>W2<\/strong> control heating<\/li>\n<li><strong>G<\/strong> controls the fan<\/li>\n<li><strong>D<\/strong> and <strong>H<\/strong> are universal terminals.<br \/>\nThe functions depending on configuration.
