We are still figuring out where everything goes, but I’ve been asked a few questions about the kitchen.<\/p>\n

The coffee maker may not stay there…<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This is what it looks like as you walk in from the front door. The island sure turned out big. I can’t reach the middle from anywhere without standing on a bar stool rung. I’ve cracked my head on the pendants a couple of times coming back up. I’ll figure it out.<\/p>\n

I notice a lot of clutter on the back counter.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

In this picture there is sure a lot of clutter on that counter… But there is a lot of counter space!<\/p>\n

\"The
The sink, fridge and stove make a perfect work triangle.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

It really is a convenient kitchen to work in. And there is a lot of storage. I don’t know what is exactly going where yet, but it’s all stashed behind doors.<\/p>\n

The sink is big enough for even my biggest pan.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I ended up getting the Corian Simplicity 881P. It is 9 1\/4″ deep.<\/p>\n

I bought it for the bathroom, but it is small.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

I love the little mat. It is memory foam, very soft. I don’t know how it will stand up, but it was inexpensive.<\/p>\n

The baskets over the fridge are full of little bags of chips.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The cabinets over the fridge leave enough room for our chip baskets from the cabin.<\/p>\n

\"Still
Still getting settled. We don’t know where anything is going to end up yet.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

My sister-in-law bought us the bull cookie jar as a housewarming gift. It’s still taped closed… The dog cookies are in the Ikea cookie jar by Alexa.<\/p>\n

So, this is the kitchen…<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

So, this is it! Getting moved in. We still feel like we are in a hotel or something.<\/p>\n

We haven’t installed the under-cabinet lighting by the stove yet.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
