Tiled Stove – Antique Fireplace<\/strong><\/p>\n

We have sold and built antique Swedish tiled stoves (kakelugn) for 45 years, in Sweden as well as abroad. Our excellent stock of antique tiled stoves range from 18th century handmade stoves with a shimmering glaze, to factory manufactured stoves from the 1860s to the 1920s.<\/p>\n

Stove design varies between round, rectangular and columnar. Each one of the tiled stoves is designed to be placed, either in a corner, or against a straight wall. Heights vary between 180 cm and, approximately, 300 cm, or more, but may in most cases be adapted according to the requirements of the customer.<\/p>\n

Apart from providing an excellent source of heat, the antique tiled stove is also an object of great beauty and a solid investment.<\/p>\n

AMAZING condition for the age. No chips, cracks, or any damage whatsoever. Kachelofen are porcelain stoves used in much of Europe that are as exquisite as they are efficient. Radiant heat from these pieces are astounding. These pieces are easily certifiable and may be installed, as can be seen in the Vogue magazine article on a Thousand Islands mansion. It is the same antique stove with a different colour. The whole unit separates to 7 units for very easy transportation. It was originally purchased in a Swiss antique shop and imported by plane. This clock has been hand painted to replicate the Delft Style Kakelugn \/ Kakalugnar stoves.<\/p>\n

This hand crafted clock construction style has been referred to as a “Lighthouse” clock.<\/p>\n

It has been refinished and the internal workings have been replaced with a quartz mechanism. It has three chimes, adjustable volume, and sound on\/off switch.<\/p>\n

This clock is “half round”, i.e., is flat on the back and sits flush with the wall.<\/p>\n

It has, on the back, what appears to be original shipping labels…<\/p>\n
