We\u2019ve decided to put in a 12\u2032 x 12\u2032 storage building because we won\u2019t have to worry about permits and it will fit beside the house.<\/p>\n

The barn is the TB 700, sold only at Home Depot, as far as I can tell.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We\u2019ve compared the buildings from Tuff Shed that we can get through Home Depot. Now we are comparing these to the sheds we can buy about a mile from our house.<\/p>\n

Most Storage at the Best Price ><\/a><\/p>\n

We\u2019ve narrowed it down to a 12\u00d712 building, so the rest are dropped out of the comparison.<\/p>\n

We could see this red barn from the road. I really love it. I need goats to go with it. We compared the storage buildings on the Carolina Storage Solutions website and drove over to look at them in person.<\/p>\n

Carolina Storage Solutions Pressure Treated Cottage comes out to be nearly the same price as the Tuff Shed Premier Ranch. The biggest difference is that Carolina Storage Solutions puts double doors on all of their buildings.<\/p>\n

Windows and Doors<\/h2>\n

As you compare the photos, don\u2019t get distracted by the windows. Tuff Shed charges extra for any windows at all.
\nCarolina Storage Solutions includes windows on some of their buildings. The Board and Batten Cottage and Cape come with two aluminum windows with wood framing. The LP Smart Lofted Barn and Cottage come with one window.
\nYou can add windows with both companies.<\/p>\n

Tuff Shed storage buildings have a single door, but you can get a double door as an option.
\nCarolina Storage Solutions puts double doors on all of their buildings. I didn\u2019t measure it when I was there and their documentation doesn\u2019t tell the size.
\nBoth companies offer door options. You can get a pull up garage door from both companies.<\/p>\n

I couldn\u2019t find the side wall size on the LP Smart Lofted Barn or the Pressure Treated Lofted Barn. But the side wall on barns isn\u2019t really as important, with the gambrel roof.<\/p>\n

We looked at a lot of them, but we kept going back to the grey 12\u2032 x 12\u2032 barn that was at Carolina Storage Solutions. One big advantage is, we wouldn\u2019t have to wait. We pay for it and they just bring it and set it up for us.<\/p>\n

It is almost the base price with a metal roof. They have added 3 tier shelves.
\nAs it is on the lot, it will cost $3969, so $27.56 per square foot of floor space.
\nThat puts it right in the middle of prices for what we are looking at.<\/p>\n
