We have keypad locks for every door. You can unlock the door with a code or using an app on your phone. This is great when we are on vacation and we have someone coming in to take care of our pets.<\/p>\n<p>Then we added the thermostat, so I can change the temperature from the app on my phone.<\/p>\n<p>And we added lots of cameras. Now we can spy on the dogs.<\/p>\n<p>It is very easy to set up. It uses Z-Wave technology, which is in a lot of things. The bridge is pretty small. It is plugged into the wireless router. We even put them on the garage and the office. We can lock or unlock them with the code or the phone app. We can generate codes for people who are going to come in, either one-time use codes or codes that are good during certain hours. I like that it also records how long it has run and reminds me when to change the filter. When we travel, we can save energy, but then adjust the temperature to something more comfortable before we get home.<\/p>\n<p>I turn it warmer without getting out of bed if I&#8217;m cold. I have gotten very lazy an spoiled.<\/p>\n<h3>Lights<\/h3>\n<p>My husband has lights set up to go on and off on different days at different times.
