They offer a lot of services. The things I have actually needed. The handyman is local, but he is paid through Amazon. You schedule through Amazon. You aren’t charged anything until the work is completed. Amazon pays the worker.
Amazon lists 348 different Handyman Services, with the price up front. From installing a faucet, garbage disposal, ceiling fan, dead bolts, garage door opener or storage shed to house painting, cleaning and yard work.

There is also a form to get an estimate from a handyman. You just tell them what the project is. There is even a place to attach photos. You just give the details and measurements and you will get an estimate back. For something complicated, a local handyman will come out and give you an on-site estimate.
You can hire carpenters, tile installers and other home improvement projects.
