When I bought the log cabin, the yard was completely full of thorns and kudzu. The first year, I started clearing it myself. It grew faster than I could cut it. I was covered in cuts and scratches. And it still looked as bad as when I had started.

Before & After – Kudzu to Apple Trees
The second year I hired help before it could start to grow back in the spring. Some things you just cannot do by yourself.

We got all of the underbrush gone, but were left with dozens of trees that had been killed by the kudzu.

I hired a tree service to take out the dead trees from all around the property and grind the stumps.
Green’s Tree Service (828)-693-5489 did a really great job. They gave me a lower price if I could wait until they had other jobs to do in the area. They talked me out of some ideas that weren’t worth the investment. I could not be happier with the job they did.

I put in a couple of apple trees.

And this is the beautiful yard we have now! There are certainly plenty of trees left.
