Sam’s Club sells Freestanding Deep Soaking Bathtubs
As I was leaving Sam’s Club yesterday, I saw a huge box with a tub in it.
I already picked out my tub, which I absolutely love. But now my daughter is remodeling her bath, so I did some research for her.

The one in our Sam’s Club is the 65″ Ruby Freestanding Tub. It is made by OVE Decors.
I Googled OVE Decors and got their website. They are in the Dorval community of Montreal, Quebec, Canada. They sell plumbing fixtures like vanities, showers and bathtubs, faucets, toilets, mirrors and medicine cabinets. They also have a line of bath lighting and have recently expanded into outdoor furniture.

All of their tubs are made of pure acrylic reinforced with fiberglass. That makes them light, strong and fade resistant. Unlike plain fiberglass tubs, acrylic will not chalk and turn yellow.

The Houston looks to me like it would be the most comfortable. The water can get pretty deep, 15.75”. Not as deep as the Underscore K-1821 from Kohler we put in our new house. It is 18″ deep. But, this is nearly 16″ and costs WAY less!
