Fort Happiness: Restored and Updated Disney Cabins

Back in 2024 we saw cabins for sale on the side of the road near Daytona beach.

I just heard from Victor Nazarian. He bought three of the retired Disney cabins. Two are available on Airbnb. The third will be available soon. He has named this mini-Fort Wilderness Fort Happiness.

They are set up on Walnut Shell Street in the Encore Sherwood Forest RV Resort in Kissimmee, Florida, 4 miles from Walt Disney World Resort and 12 miles from Universal Studios.

Encore Sherwood Forest RV Resort has an on-site clubhouse with a game room, fitness center, a large swimming pool, whirlpool hot tub, playground, fire pit, mini-golf, shuffleboard, and tennis courts. There are pet walking areas and a fenced in dog park and on-site laundry. Grocery stores, restaurants, CVS and public transportation are within walking distance.

These are the real Disney Log Cabins that used to be in Fort Wilderness. They have been restored and updated with even more Disney style.

Each cabin is fully equipped, with a kitchen, dining area, full bathroom, living room with a pull-out sofa bed and bedroom with a queen-sized bed and bunk beds, folding cot and crib.

The bathroom has standard sized tub with shower, toilet and sink.

The living room has a pull-out sleeper sofa. The ottoman doubles as a small single bed. This cabin can sleep up to seven people… especially if they are small people.

Thoughtful touches like a makeup station, games, books, extra bedding and places to tuck your clothes out of the way.

They are absolutely full of Disney decorations. Everything than can be Disney is Disney.
